March Reading Month Challenge
Leap Frog is helping families make reading part of your every day routine. Reading is important to a child's development. Children who are read to at home frequently have an academic advantage, like counting up 20 or higher, writing their name.
I have a 5 year old grand daughter , and I myself, her mother read to her since she was a baby. She is now in kindergarten and knows how read, write her name and she reads to me. She read a whole book to me one night by herself without any help. I've read to my children all the time when they were small and it really helps them and encourages them to keep reading.
Leap Frog is " will be partnering with a great non-profit, Kristi Yamaguchi's Always Dream Foundation, to donate 20 Leap Reader books to the foundation's under-served classrooms for every pledge received. Through this program, they plan to donate over 350,000 books to children in need.
Take the pledge and read with your child 20 minutes a day and help them develop life long skills for their future. Visit Leap Frog to take the pledge and help them donate books to children in underserved schools http://www.leapfrog.com/en-us/learning-path/theme-category-pages/national-reading-month-challenge .
